| Simply Boxes specialises in cardboard boxes and packaging
products for moving house and DIY home removals. In order to provide a
complete package for home movers, we supply specialist home removal boxes
and kits, which consist of different combinations of cardboard
boxes, bubble wrap and packaging tape. |
| A regular home removal boxed kit consists of 10 regular
and 10 medium cardboard boxes, 10 metres of bubble wrap and a roll of
tape. |
| A medium home removal kit consists of 10 regular, 15
medium and 5 large cardboard boxes, 15 metres of bubble wrap and 2 rolls
of tape. |
| A large home removal kit contains 10 regular, 20 medium
and 10 large cardboard boxes, 20 metres of bubble wrap and 2 rolls of
tape. |
| Finally, our super large removal kit consists of 20
regular, 30 medium and 10 large cardboard boxes, 30 metres of bubble wrap
and 4 rolls of tape. |
| All kits are dispatched in at least one (depending
on the size of the kit) outer cardboard box. These could be utilised for
the removal of pictures, mirrors and so on. |
| If you are moving abroad and your belongings are to
be shipped in containers, we would recommend our large boxes, which are
more suitable for this kind of packing and stacking. These can be bought
in bundles of 10 or 20. Bubble wrap and tape could be purchased separately. |
| As you are packing, ensure each cardboard box is labelled
well with the contents and room in which you want it in your new home
– it might seem a bit extreme, but you might just be grateful that
‘tin opener’ or ‘bottle opener’ is labelled separately
on a box rather than a vague ‘kitchen utensils’ box on that
first night in! Don’t overload either – remember that you’ve
got to be able move each box! |
| Start packing early – it is a much bigger job
than most of us realise! Remember you are embracing an entire home removal!
Starting to pack away personal possessions and unnecessary clutter before
you put your house on the market is always recommended. Let potential
buyers picture their own belongings in your house rather than being overwhelmed
by yours. Not only will this save you more time as it comes closer to
moving day, but also your house is sure to sell much more quickly. De-clutter
your house and utilise the storage spaces in your attic and garage. |
| Children can often be overwhelmed by moving, so let
them have their own removal box to pack away some of their belongings.
Also, make a special box for each of your children for the moving day.
Fill the box with treats and new things for their new rooms. |
